Job Description
This position requires a proactive highly motivated selfstarting individual who operates well in an ambiguous environment. This person will need to collaborate across the teams to drive positive change by evaluating and streamlining existing regional and global processes. Additionally the finance manager will support our internal planning tool and work to implement the right longterm solution.
Key job responsibilities
Managing the global process around Amazon forecasting cycles for Global Real Estate & Facilities including Annual Operating Plan and Quarterly Guidance including communication with senior leadership and internal customers.
Collaborating and coordinating activities with internal finance teams on all planning cycles
Managing the RSF planning process
Driving standardization globally and lead process improvement efforts.
Owning GREF planning system (One Stream) and ensure alignment with Amazon planning system of record.
Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field
5 years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
6 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
6 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
6 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decisionmaking experience
6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
MBA or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results
