Head of IT Transversal Applications

As Head of IT Transversal Applications at Equans Belux you lead efforts to transform IT into a strategic partner for various business divisions and supporting teams. This role involves providing leadership within the Transversal IT functional domain which includes essential IT functions such as middleware the ServiceNOW suite WalkMe data management and robotic process automation.

Additionally this position will also serves as an IT Business Partner (ITBP) responsible for building and nurturing relationships with one or more Operational Business Unit stakeholders translating IT capabilities into business value facilitating communication and be the voice of the Business within IT.

Youll be part of the IT Core Team and report directly to the CIO.

What youll be doing in this role:

• direction and strategy will be provided for the Transversal IT domain ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and delivery of expected results
• oversight of a multidisciplinary team comprising product owners service delivery managers analysts developers and testers including all aspects of staffing and performance management
• financial stewardship of the Transversal IT domain ensuring resource allocations are aligned with strategic goals
• close collaboration with the Chief Information Officer to implement the IT vision as well as engagement with other tower leads to enhance the overall maturity and performance of the IT organization
• acting as an IT business partner by fostering relationships with stakeholders across the organization translating IT capacity into business value and addressing stakeholder needs and concerns
• leveraging support from cyber security architecture financial control and transversal IT roles such as project managers and change managers to ensure comprehensive service delivery

This role is for you with:

• at least 10 years of experience in people management with a proven track record in team performance and leadership
• minimum 5 years of experience in an IT service organisation and 5 years in a projectdriven environment
• experience in agile environments is a plus
• excellent communication skills and stakeholder management across all levels
• strong organisational skills to juggle teams priorities and longterm projects
• a collaborative mindset that prioritises team results over individual wins
• a proactive attitude capable of initiating change and managing complexity
• ability to thrive in a fastpaced demanding environment
• high attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes
• strong analytical thinking and problemsolving abilities with sound decisionmaking skills in highpressure situations
• competency in developing longterm strategies while managing immediate challenges
• commitment to understanding and meeting stakeholder needs
• fluency in English and at least one of the Belgian national languages (Dutch or French)
