A role in Supply Chain Asset Protection means keeping our team visitors and brand safe and secure and leading through crisis events. We protect profitable sales by mitigating shortage risks preventing investigating and resolving theft and fraud to ensure products are available for our guests.
As aTargetSecuritySpecialist(TSS) youwill contribute to a team in supportofasafe and secure work environment to allataTargetsupply chain facility through best practices and physical security program . You will operate Targetowned vehicles to execute yard and perimeter patrol routines. Youll follow emergency procedures and protocols in the event of emergencies including incident notification to building follow best practices and procedures relating totruck gate operations and visitor management.

About you:
- High School degree or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Demonstrated ability to multitask as well as the ability to respond quickly and remain calm during crisis situations
- Possess or ability to obtain a valid drivers license
- Meet any state or local licensure and/or other requirements related to the position
- Ability to prioritize tasks and remain composed in a fastpaced environment accomplishing multiple tasks within established times independently
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures humidity and other elements while performing certain job duties including patrols and other routines.
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to operate technology systems with minimal direction after receiving training
- Reliable and prompt attendance necessary
- Prior experience preferred but not required
- Ability to be trained and act on deescalation tactics
- Ability to safely conduct internal and external patrols frequently throughout your shift
- Ability to quickly and safely respond to security incidents in all locations on property including but not limited to stairwells rooftops truck yard mezzanine on or near automation/technology and trailers.
