You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailPublic Health Seattle & King County Needle Exchange Program is seeking a shortterm temporary (STT) Education Specialist (Needle Exchange Education Specialist).The incumbent will report to the Drug User Health Manager. The Needle Exchange Program provides syringe exchange Naloxone distribution and health education and disease prevention information to persons who use . This position works with a multidisciplinary team that is responsible for daily operation of needle exchange services at two fixed sites as well as vanbased delivery services.

STT employees are an atwill temporary employee and provide coverage for Needle Exchange shifts when career services employees are out sick or on vacation. The typical work schedule is a nontraditional schedule (e.g. weekdays weeknights weekend days weekend nights and holidays). This
position is subject to the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is
overtime eligible.
Work Location
The primary location for this position will be based at the Robert Clewis Center located at 2124 4th Ave Seattle WA 98121. This position will require travel to various other worksites: Robert Clewis Center 2 located at 1161 11th Ave Seattle WA 98122 and South County Outreach Referral and Exchange (SCORE) van based delivery services to South King County.
Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
