T. E. Mabry Middle School Principal
T. E. Mabry Middle School is helping all students develop the worldclass skills and life and career characteristics that embody the Profile of a South Carolina Graduate by continuing to provide a quality studentcentered education. The schools mission is Count on Me to make a positive impact through teaching and learning. As a South Carolina School to Watch the school achieved its fourth ReDesignation status in 2023. A proud heritage of continuing to implement a developmental framework that focuses on social equity developmental responsiveness academic excellence and organizational structures and processes creates the fabric of the culture of this school.
T. E. Mabry Middle School was named a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 2015 and is the recipient of the Arts in Basic Curriculum Grant and was redesignated as an Arts in Basic Curriculum certified school. As an Arts in Basic Curriculum school T. E. Mabry Middle School prides itself on integrating the visual and performing arts across content areas while also having nearly 45 of the student body involved in a yearlong visual and/or performing art course. Band Chorus and Orchestra programs have received numerous superior and excellent ratings at annual Concert Performance Assessments.
This year T. E. Mabry Middle School will offer several classes such as Geometry English I Computer Science Discoveries and Art I for high school credit to its eighthgrade students. We continue to have a successful Junior Beta Club with numerous students involved. Athletic teams have a record number of students participating.
T. E. Mabry Middle School continues to address the overall social and emotional learning needs of students by implementing our advisory program in which each student is designated an advisor or mentor in the building. It is important to us that our students identify with a trusted adult throughout the two years they will spend at T. E. Mabry Middle School.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid South Carolina Certification in Middle Level/Secondary School Administration.
- Experience Preferred
- A Masters degree or above is preferred
