Job Summary
The Department of Political Science in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington KY seeks to fill a tenureeligible faculty position at the Assistant Professor level with expertise in the field of Political Violence. This is a 9month position in the regular title series with an anticipated start date of August 1 2025. Applicants for this position will need to demonstrate clear potential for research excellence and be able to teach classes at the graduate level in International Relations and at the undergraduate level in the departments two majors: Political Science and Law and Justice. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Political Science with a specialization in International Relations by June 2025. Applicants must include the following: 1 Cover Letter 2 CV 3 Research Statement (upload as Specific Request 1 and 4 Teaching Statement (upload as Specific Request 2.
