In this role you will coordinate planning and evaluation efforts using systems data implementation reports evaluations and public stakeholder and advisory partner input to support and improve Alaskas publicly funded behavioral health system.
You will participate in and coordinate system planning efforts for the Alaska Mental Health Board/ Advisory Board on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (AMHB/ABADA) through meetings planning and preparation research and technical document preparation.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with board members Board staff and the various Departments in planning ongoing initiatives that support the Boards mission vision and priority areas.Our organization mission and culture:

This position is being filled in Juneau.The working environment you can expect:
The AMHB/ABADA office is located at 431 North Franklin St. Juneau AK in downtown Juneau. It is near the Alaska State Capitol Building and within walking distance of various restaurants coffee shops and gift shops. A designated parking pass is included with the hire.
This position is a hybrid home and officebased job in a fastpaced environment and travel to rural Alaskan communities is required.To view the general description and example of duties for this job class please go to the following link and search for Health and Social Services Planner 2: Qualifications A Bachelors degree from an accredited college in health planning health sciences behavioral sciences social sciences public health administration public or business administration or a closely related field;
AND EITHER
Two years of professional planning experience in health or social services;
OR
Two years of professional experience in the administration management or development of a public health health or social services program.
