Summary of Job Duties:
The University of Arkansas Community College at HopeTexarkana is a growing educational institution seeking dynamic engaging individuals for full time instructor positions. Successful candidates will be well organized punctual reliable team oriented and will motivate students. They will possess the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of individuals possess strong communication skills and have the ability and willingness to use advanced technology. They will have a passion for teaching and a genuine desire to serve students and the workforce.Teach freshman and sophomore biological sciences including but not limited to:
General Biology
Microbiology
Human Anatomy and Physiology both lab and nonlab courses.
Teach Collegiate Academy Biology
Work closely with health professions dean faculty tutoring staff and other College personnel to promote student success.
Serve on department and university committees.
Participate in professional development.
Night and weekend duties may be required.
Willingness to teach at Hope and/or Texarkana campuses.
Qualifications:
Masters degree with 18 graduate hours in Biological Science required. Teaching experience in this area is preferred.
