Your Role:

The APAC Region is rapidly growing and the organization is investing significantly in the a Commercial Excellence Manager based in Burlington MA you will play a vital role in providing the regional team and our global business partners with vital insights and recommendations in process setup and projects that affect the strategic and operational direction of our region.

This role is primarily focused on driving improvements and identifying efficiencies in the commercial go to market organization by improving communications systems and projects to enhance the customer experience. Your stakeholders will include but not limited to; commercial service ISCO (Supply Chain Logistics and Manufacturing) Commercial Business Managers Finance Digital Partners (e.g. eCommerce. This position reports to the Director Head of PS APAC Commercial Excellence. Key to this role is:

  • A strong understanding of Process Solutions APAC ordertocash and business processes as well as APACtoUS intercompany orders processes.
  • Knowledge in developing optimizing and implementing new systems and harmonized processes.
  • Value based models and impact analysis.
  • Collaborating and monitoring specifically on KPIs & Scorecard.
  • Maintain a positive empathetic and professional attitude towards customers.
  • Respond promptly to all customer enquiries and build a priority management system.
  • Identify and build systems to help support and facilitate business transactions.
  • Actively identify and take ownership of process improvement across APAC utilizing proven process improvement techniques such as Lean Six Sigma.
  • Be able to quantify and report on valuebased activities.
  • Become knowledge experts in key technology and transactional areas systems ERP and processes.
  • Build strong relationships with both internal and external partners.
  • Build a feedback and review process for new and improved systems.
  • Review and improve Commercial Service processes; communicate with other regional departments and stakeholders to optimize processes
  • Appropriately balances commercial and customer perspectives; provides transparency into business drivers risks and opportunities.

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience in general business commercial operations or financial analysis roles.
  • Bachelor degree in business sales & marketing Finance/Accounting or related.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen; solid working experience with Excel skills
  • Strong IT skills especially with Excel PowerPoint CRM (Salesforce SAP CRM).
  • Ability to collaborate across cultures and to influence without authority.
  • Effective at driving change and collaborating in teams to achieve desired results.
  • Capable of articulating a plan gaining organizational commitment to action and influencing others to achieve results.
  • Experience working with global teams and cultures willingness to travel to APAC.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Life Science Pharmaceutical and/or Biotechnology industry is a plus.
  • Supply Chain/Demand Planning experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge in Tableau is a plus.
  • Experience working in a multinational and matrix environment is a plus
  • Comfortable working at a fast pace with tight deadlines.
  • A selfstarter who fosters critical thinking skills (not just a tasktaker); goes the extra mile to interpret data.
  • Must be a team player; maintain flexibility and highly adaptable in a change management environment.
  • Must embrace diversity and respect for multicultural backgrounds.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English); ability to deal with different stakeholders and balance various interests/viewpoints.
  • Possesses the behavioral attributes of the finance competency model: Adaptable Resilient Accurate and Rigorous Inquisitive and Probing Courageous Assertive and Influential.
