Position Summary
Applies indepth knowledge in sourcing evaluating suppliers negotiating contracts and procuring goods and services to meet the organizations needs. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements ensure timely and costeffective purchasing and maintain supplier relationships. Monitors market trends assesses supplier performance and implements procurement best practices to optimize the procurement process.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Analyzes complex data and trends within procurement operations to identify opportunities for cost savings process improvement as well as thirdparty supplier performance enhancement.
Applies indepth knowledge of procurement principles and best practices to analyze and implement core procurement strategies that optimize sourcing supplier selection and contract management.
Conducts routine examinations and evaluations of procurement activities and systems to identify potential risks bottlenecks and areas for process optimization.
Implements and configures procurement systems and technologies to support efficient procurement workflows and enhance visibility across the procurement function.
Identifies opportunities to streamline and automate procurement processes leveraging emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Coordinates large or complex procurement projects collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure successful project implementation to effectively achieve procurement goals.
Communicates effectively both internally and externally to collaborate with stakeholders suppliers and crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless procurement processes and drive successful supplier relationships.
Documents and maintains accurate records of procurement activities including contract management supplier performance and compliance monitoring.
Provides expertise and guidance to junior analysts and support staff offering training mentoring and knowledge sharing to foster their professional growth and development.
Required Qualifications
2 years of experience in working in IT contract negotiations vendor management and/or vendor relationship management
2 years of experience using data to running RFx sourcing events
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills
APICS Certified Supply Chain Analyst (CSCA)
Education
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

The typical pay range for this role is:
$46988.00 $112200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual fulltime salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience education geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus commission or shortterm incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
