Position Summary
The Credentialing Application Supervisor oversees daytoday activities of staff that process credentialing and recredentialing applications for medical providers. In this role you will maintain strong crossdepartmental relationships with Recruiting and Auditing.
This role will report to our Credentialing Manager.
What will you do
Ensure provider compliance with Federal State NCQA and client policy requirements associated with delegated credentialing processes
Assists with special projects to support operational needs as directed by management
Maintains orderly workflow
Provide guidance and coaching to team to align with individual team and company goals
Train new employees on the credentialing process
Complete additional verification such as State Board Licenses and Department of Defense requests in a timely manner
Assist in quality and continuous improvement efforts for the overall credentialing process(es) as needed
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or higher
Prior experience in supervision of relevant business operations
Prior credentialing experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to work independently and multitask effectively
Displays strong organization skills and time management skills to efficiently support multiple departments and delegated plans
Initiative and drive to see a task through completion
Possession of a sense of urgency
Meets and maintains HIPAA regulations in regards to Protected Health Information
Able to handle challenging or conflict situations with tact and professionalism
Intermediate skills in GSuite
Ability to work overtime

The typical pay range for this role is:
$43888.00 $85068.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual fulltime salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience education geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus commission or shortterm incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
