Job Description

Special Education High School District Program Instructional Assistants(Grant Funded) 2025

Positions:

Special Education District Program Instructional Assistants

Requirements:

Experience as an Instructional Assistant

Description:

  • Implement a twoday program through summer (program operational hours: Tuesday and Thursday from from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. July 7 through July 31 2025
  • Participate in a professional development program on June 23 and 24 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Work with students from District Programs (DSC and Connections)
  • Support all students including all parts of their programming (academic social/emotional/behavioral activities of daily living)
  • Data collection at the beginning and end of the summer program
  • Assist with program evaluation upon completion of the program
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the ESY directors

Marshall Simonds Middle School

Compensation:

In accordance with the IA contract (prorated in accordance with hours or days worked)
