Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL Limitless team is looking for an engineer to work and collaborate with other engineers database engineers (DBEs) stakeholders and build the high quality distributed databases for cloud. An ideal candidate for this position will be an engineer who has extensive experience working on designs and implementation of highly available communication layer components and protocols experience with building scalable components in distributed systems and knowledge of distributed databases.

7 years of noninternship professional software development experience
7 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
5 years of building communication layers and protocols within distributed systems

5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
Building scalable and highly available components in distributed systems
