Job Description

As a Business Analyst from Day 1 you will be challenged with a variety of tasks ranging from creating datasets reports and dashboards to metadata modeling pipeline monitoring and more.

You are passionate about finding root causes trends and patterns and how they impact business. You use data to support your ideas and drive actionable outcomes and draw inferences and conclusions based on data.
You have extensive experience working with extremely large data sets and are comfortable with various tools and technologies to consume extract and transform data.
You have experience in creating dashboards and visualizations of processed data identifying trends & anomalies and providing unique ways to present data and information in an easy to consume format.
You have business communication skills to be able to work with product owners to understand key business questions and are able to build solutions (reports / dashboards) that enable product owners to answer those questions quickly and accurately.
. You are comfortable handling competing priorities and ambiguity. You thrive in an agile and fastpaced environment on highly visible projects and initiatives.

You will transform data into actionable business information and will make it readily accessible to stakeholders worldwide.
You will help translate analytic insights into concrete actionable recommendations for business or product improvement.
You will develop dashboards that provide insights into the health and state of the business create analytics solutions to drive deep dives and determine ways to measure impact.
You will provide insights and analytical solutions to help drive operational efficiencies uncover the hidden risks and trends reduce investigation errors improve customer experience and predict & recommend the optimizations for future state.
You will interact with internal program and product owners and technical teams to gather requirements structure scalable and perform data solutions and gain a deep understanding of key datasets.
You will own the design creation and management of extremely large datasets.
You will be responsible to tune query performance against large and complex data sets.
You will design implement and drive adoption of new analytic technologies and solutions and promote industry standard best practices.

About the team
About the team
The Centralized Analytics and Data Engineering (CADE) team is a part of Amazons Selling Partner Services (SPS) Trustworthy Shopping Experience org. The team provides analytics and data engineering for organizations such as Brand Registry and Reporter experience IP Protection and Perfect Order Experience. The team also develops BI tools to automate insight generation and data handling process.

3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
3 years of Excel (including VBA pivot tables array functions power pivots etc. and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

5 years of Excel (including VBA pivot tables array functions power pivots etc. and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
4 years of business analyst data analyst or similar role experience
Experience with data visualization using Tableau Quicksight or similar tools
Experience with SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
