Job Description

About the Role:

Grade Level (for internal use):

The Team:

In this role you will collaborate with a team of enthusiastic members to support our critical technology systems. You will guide our business partners and end users with industry best practices solution design and creating longterm value for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a servant leader to an Agile team.
  • Educate Agile teams to maximize efficiencies and performance through Scaled Agile practices and values.
  • Coach Agile teams in selforganization and continuous improvement.
  • Guide Agile teams to consistently deliver customer value.
  • Manage risks mitigate impediments and negotiate dependencies within and across Agile teams.
  • Facilitate Scrum events including Daily Standups Iteration Planning Refinement sessions Iteration Reviews and Retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure features and user stories are clear concise prioritized and understood by all Agile team members.
  • Establish and maintain open and clear lines of communication to facilitate progress transparency.
  • Work with peer Scrum Masters Release Train Engineers and Agile Coaches to enhance the effectiveness of Scaled Agile.

  • Ability to develop and foster teamwork gauge team performance and drive necessary actions for improvement.
  • Emotional intelligence levelheaded diplomacy skilled listening and clear communication with strong empathy traits able to remain objective and constructive in all situations.
  • Ability to facilitate constructive debate and resolve disagreements and conflicts constructively.
  • Deliver handson training and coaching of defined Agile practices to individual teams and programs.
  • Proven ability to work crossfunctionally and crossregionally across multiple Product portfolios.
  • Understanding of other engineering processes and methodologies leveraging techniques to provide value to the team/enterprise.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience leading teams as a Scrum Master.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Proven ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Teamfirst servant leader mentality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified SAFe Scrum Master.
  • Certified PSM or CSM.
