BMOs BrokerEdge was successfully launched in January 2024 and have received tremendous response from the industry as reflected by the volume of booked deals versus the projections. One of the controls within the BrokerEdges governance framework is for Credit Risk to provide oversight to ensure First National LLP (FN)s underwriting to be compliance with BMOFN Lender Policy and Processes.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Understanding of BMOFirst National Lender Policy
  • Understanding of BMO BrokerEdges credit risk oversight process
  • Preparing weekly power point presentation for Leadership
  • Data preparation from First Nationals adjudication system and delivery for BMOs strategy oversight
  • Performing duplicate application checks throughout BMO distribution channels.
  • Credit risk oversight on BMOFN Lender Policies/Processes
  • Knowledge of BMO First National Lender policy. Specifically understanding of BMOs Rental policy/rental offset policy Savers policy debt servicing thresholds Loan to value policy and exceptions policy including deal flow to Consumer Credit.
  • Understanding of credit risk oversight process of BMOs BrokerEdge process.
  • Data preparation from First Nationals adjudication system and delivery for BMOs strategy oversight
  • Performing duplicate application checks throughout BMO distribution channels.
  • Communicating with Strategy and Technology partners to ensure timely delivery of data for simulation within DMP
  • Participation in investigation false flags identified by oversight assessment
  • Other duties within governance & regulatory as assigned by the Leadership
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

    Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of RESL portfolio makeup retail credit risk and retail credit products.
  • Working knowledge of BMO BrokeEdge policies and processes
  • Thorough Understanding of the Home Financing industry
  • Undergraduate University Degree in Business Mathematics or Economic
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Salary:

$44500.00 $82500.00

Pay Type:

Salaried

The above represents BMO Financial Groups pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location skills experience education and qualifications for the role and may include a commission structure. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Groups expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Groups total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performancebased incentives discretionary bonuses as well as other perks and rewards.
