Job Description

Speech Language Pathologist (CCCSLP) 3 positions available) @ Central Special Education

(Internal employees must have their accounts set to Internal before applying)

Purpose:

Plan and provide speechlanguage pathology services to students with a variety of communication disorders. Evaluate students and provide therapy to eliminate or reduce impairments which impact the students ability to derive full benefit from the educational program.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise licensed assistant therapists or CF when assigned. Mentor fellow therapists when assigned.

Evaluation

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Boards policy on evaluation of SpeechLanguage Pathologist.

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:

Tools/Equipment Used:Standard office equipment including computer and peripherals

Posture:Standing prolonged sitting occasional kneeling/squatting bending/stooping pushing pulling and twisting

Motion:Repetitive hand motions; frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching; may also require climbing stairs and reaching over head

Lifting:Moderate lifting and carrying (up to 15 pounds); May require occasional heavy lifting and carrying 1545 pounds)

Environment:May work prolonged or irregular hours; frequent district wide travel; all campuses are temperature controlled with hard surface floors

Mental Demands:Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress

Salary Schedule Min$61907 Mid$73932 Max$85956 (Based on previous experience)

Salary Schedule

Salary Schedule is pending school board approval

This individual will receive a $4000 stipend and $500 for a Masters. If applicable $4500 bilingual stipend
