This is a brilliant opportunity to become a Sous Chef at the Pelican Waters Tavern!
What youll do:
- Run the pass during busy service times to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of dishes to surpass guest expectations
- Support the Head Chef with menu planning inventory management and food preparation
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the kitchen team fostering a positive and productive working environment
- Create and manage staff rosters
- Manage food safety and ensure adherence to compliance and safety standards
Qualifications :
What youll need:
- Previous experience working as a Sous Chef or similar role in a highvolume establishment
- Ability to lead effective teams and build a positive culture
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques ingredients and kitchen equipment
- Operational experience to achieve financial and business targets
- Trade Cooking qualifications
- The desire to be part of a fun productive and professional team
