Job Description
Job Title: Data Governance Engineer
Location: Dallas TX Onsite
Type: Contract
Must have skills: Azure stack Erwin and Data Governance.
Requirements:
1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field
2. 8 years of experience in data governance data quality and data management with at least 3 years focused on Snowflake MarTech and CDP
3. Strong expertise in data governance frameworks policies and procedures including metadata management and data lineage
4.
Handson experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse ensuring data quality integrity and compliance
5. Knowledge of MarTech ecosystems customer data platforms and their data governance and quality requirements
6. Proficiency in data profiling data cleansing and quality assessment tools (e.g. Informatica DQ Talend Collibra)
7. Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA) and security standards for marketing and customer data
8. Advanced SQL skills for querying and validating data in Snowflake and other data systems
9. Strong analytical skills to identify data issues assess risks and implement corrective actions
10. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with data teams marketers and compliance officers
11. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) and their data governance capabilities is a plus
12. Relevant certifications (e.g. DAMA CDMP Snowflake Data Quality) are advantageous.
