Audit Manager - Panama City FL Full-Time

Thomas Howell Ferguson P.A. CPAs (THF)is a growing large regional Top 135 public accounting firm with an everexpanding reach locally regionally statewide nationally and internationally. Our firm holds membership with the RSM US Alliance and CPAmerica International enabling us to collaborate and share ideas and access the latest resources ideas training technology and best practices related to public accounting. Our CPAs are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) in addition to several other key industry related trade associations.

We are currently seeking an individual looking to take thatnext stepin advancing their career path by accepting the engaging and fulfilling role as anAudit Managerin our Panama City Florida office location.This position will be a part of our growing audit and consulting practice operating in a leadership capacity to assist with growing our Panama City audit practice. Additionally the person in this role will oversee large projects collaborate with our other offices and team members and lead statewide teams on consulting projects.

If you enjoy project management working with a variety of organizations meeting with clients inperson and/or virtually leading a team of staff auditors working on industry group engagements and are looking to solidify your expertise in an area of audit services specialization then this is the perfect role for you!

• You have a bachelors degree in accounting
• You currently have your CPA Certification
• You have at leastfour yearsof recent auditing services experience in public accounting
• You enjoy being the face of the firm and can provide exemplary consulting services to our clients
• You have prior experience leading a team training staff members and serving as a professional mentor
• You have experience managing projects and engagements simultaneously from start to completion
• Knowledge of Government Auditing and Accounting Standards is preferred

*This is an inperson working in the office role. Hybrid working options will be considered based on experience but geographical residence within the Panama City region is required.We expect this role will involve some practice development new engagement leadership and onsite client interaction that will require geographical residence within the region.
