WTOCTV located in beautiful Savannah GA is the CBS affiliate serving 17 counties in south Georgia and 3 in South Carolina. WTOC is the markets dominant station celebrating 70 years of excellence in news sports and weather reporting both onair and online. WTOC is a part of Gray Media.
Job Summary/Description:
WTOCTV has an opening for a Media Executive to join our team of integrated marketing/advertising professionals. At WTOCTV we help businesses find and keep their very best customers through the use of effective marketing and advertising. The successful Executive is responsible for selling WTOCTV as well as a full suite of digital product offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic the drive to succeed be detailorientated have outside sales experience and the ability to work in a changing fastpaced environment.
Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
New business driver/developer along with managing a current client list
Excellent grammar organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
Ability to solve problems
Qualifications/Requirements:
College degree preferred or equivalent in years of experience
Previous outside sales experience required
Previous work in media sales is preferred
Must have strong administrative skills
Must have strong prospecting skills
Experience in working with a CRM tool Wide Orbit and Wide Orbit Media Sales is a plus
