Job Duties Outlined
Conduct respiratory basic/translational research acute/chronic lung injury as Principal/CoInvestigator.
Train and educate students residents fellows and faculty in a research setting.
Obtain extramural/internal grant funding to support laboratory/research team.
Mentoring and evaluating students fellows and faculty as well as participating in weekly lectures and discussion groups.
Representation of the University at national and international conferences through scholarly contributions such as lectures and poster presentations and presentation of research results throughs publications in highquality peerreviewed journals.

Required Qualifications
Education:
PhD MD or equivalent.
Work Experience:
3 years of experience in basic/translational research in respiratory field.
Preferred Qualifications

5 years of experience in basic/translational research in respiratory field.
Extramural grant funding.
Leading a laboratory in basic/translational research.
