The Department of Art & Art History at the University of Miami invites applications for a tenuretrack faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Printmaking/Design Thinking to begin August 15 2025. The department seeks Studio Art candidates working in the following fields or at the intersection of these practices: traditional modes of printmaking; digital or computerbased printmaking; design thinking and innovation. We are particularly interested in applicants who can contribute to existing college and university programs including the new Innovation comajor program. The expected teaching commitment is 22. Successful candidates must have an MFA in hand by the position start date of August 15 2025 with significant teaching experience and a strong (or promising) record of professional exhibitions.
