The Opportunity

Howden a Chart Industries Company are delighted to announce that we currently havevacancies to join our Apprenticeship Programme. We have an excellent opportunity for 10individuals to complete an accredited 4year Engineering Apprenticeship within ourCompressor business. Our apprenticeship programmes are and excellent grounding for thosewishing to pursue a career in engineering that allow you to develop in many different areasin the engineering field.

We have diverse workforces within our Factory Operations team many of whom haveexperience of completing their own Howden Apprenticeship. Some have also taken theopportunity to develop the learnings of the apprenticeship further into various leadershiproles throughout our business.

The Training

Throughout your 4year apprenticeship programme our qualified engineering team inconjunction with our accredited training centre will mentor you to enable you to developsuccessfully to build a career with Howden. In recognising the value of our people you willhave the opportunity to continue your education up to HND Level and potentially go onfurther to complete a university degree if you choose to help you to continue on yourjourney throughout our business.

What do you bring

In order to apply for an apprenticeship with Howden you will need to have achieved schoolgrades that include the following at SCQF level 5:

• Maths
• English
• x2 Technical/Science subjects

You should also be able to display good communication skills and have competency inMicrosoft office packages.
