Amazon Business represents an incredible opportunity to address a vast new market segment and customer base. AB is the one the fastest growing business for Amazon. We are focused on building solutions that enable our business customers enjoy business relevant selection (products and services) with the convenience we offer to our customers today across multiple devices marketplaces and regions.

Key job responsibilities
Participate in the full development life cycle working within broadly defined parameters including test plan and software quality needs.
Own the delivery of a piece of a system or application
System Design (frontend / backend performance security etc)
against project plans and delivery commitments.
Build software solutions where the problem is defined to a point.
Create and execute appropriate project plans test strategies and processes for development activities in concert with business and project management efforts.
Drive improvements in processes and operational excellence
Help to mentor junior team members
A day in the life
The ideal candidate will be a leader quick learner and be able to work independently. He/she should be able to operate in a very fast paced environment where time to hit market is super critical.
The candidate will need to balance technical leadership and savvy with strong business judgment to make the right decisions about technology choices.
4 years of agile software development methodology experience
Experience with common technologies such as Java Spring AWS TypeScript and ReactJS
About the team
Our team in Hyderabad solves External System Integration (ESI) needs for Amazon Business. System integrations brings lot of complexities from business and tech perspectives.
We believe well guided user experiences are key to navigate integration complexities and build stable integrations for our customers and partners as well as bringing down the integration time from months to few days.
This is a rare opportunity to be part of a team that will be responsible for building a successful sustainable and strategic business for Amazon with senior technology and product leaders
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
