The Employee Relations Manager (ERM) is an important role within the EU EXR (Employee Experience and Relations) Field organization supporting the Country EXR team. This position assists in driving ER activities and initiatives across on the road (OTR) operational business lines within a specific country geography. The primary focus is to support EXR operational excellence goals and strategy while addressing the ER needs of the country.
The ER Manager works closely with Ops DSPM and other key incountry stakeholders to support the of the countryspecific ER strategy. This role involves assisting in the implementation of strategies to address country labour relations challenges for business lines. The ERM provides labour relations support by collaborating with operational teams to advance company objectives.

Identify potential issues and support risk mitigation strategies
Monitor internal EXR environment and external operating context

Analyze data to support recommendations and measure strategy success
Ensure compliance of EXR decisions and activities
Contribute to innovative solutions that challenge current practices
Support engagement mechanisms to maintain positive workplace environments
Conduct site visits to gather information for ER risk mitigation
Contribute to EXR reporting activities
Collaboration
Build relationships with peers and internal leaders
Support project management for initiatives aimed at improving associate and driver experience
Contribute to the development of standardized ER solutions
The position reports to the Senior Employee Relations Manager AMZL IT within the EU Employee Experience and Relations Team at Amazon. This is a fulltime position that will require significant travel throughout Italy (up to 50 of the time) and beyond on occasion sometimes with little or no notice.
Bachelors degree and professional experience in employee relations labor relations or labor/employment law
Fluency in Italian and English (CEFR C2
Knowledge of Italian labor and employment law
Experience in project management within a matrix environment
Masters Degree in Law Human Resources or related field
Experience working with thirdparty contractor workforces
Experience in distribution logistics and/or transportation industries
Strong analytical communication and writing skills
Ability to work in fastpaced ambiguous environments
Flexibility and good organizational skills
