Horizon Science Academy Westerville is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Math Title/Resource Teacher to join our team and inspire young learners in K6 grades. The ideal candidate must be committed to fostering academic excellence critical thinking and problemsolving skills to prepare students for future success. Teaching Responsibilities:
- Support the schools mission philosophies values goals and policies toward students parents/guardians and coworkers.
- Design and implement engaging Math lessons aligned with state and school standards.
- Deliver developmentally appropriate instruction which reflects observations and goals of individual children.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes student engagement and achievement.
- Assess and track student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments.
- Work with the faculty and school leadership to frequently examine student data for ongoing refinement of instruction and assessment.
- Facilitate regular parent/guardian communications and conferences to discuss student progress.
- Maintain an organized attractive and safe classroom environment.
- Have an understanding of PBIS strategies or willingness to learn.
- Foster positive relationships with students parents and other stakeholders

Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree or Masters Degree
- Valid OH teaching certificate/license or must be in the process of obtaining a valid OH teaching certificate/license in subject area to be taught
