The Amazon Device Manager (ADM) Software Engineering team develops and builds the products that configure manage and report on Amazons global fleet of end user client devices such as scanners and tablets. Hundreds of thousands of Amazon associates rely upon these devices to deliver shipments to Amazon retail customers. We provide our critical services in thousands of facilities ranging from Amazons smallest lastmile emerging market delivery stations to 1M square foot robotic facilities.

We are looking for a talented Software Development Engineer to invent new solutions to improve our speed scale and efficiency. You will be joining a team that is fully automating device provisioning device testing frameworks and improving device reporting to enable complex datadriven decisions with globally impacting scope. Our AWSbased services enable Amazons software systems and operations teams to use the latest technologies in our facilities. We build for performance availability security and cost.

Key job responsibilities
SDEII in this role will be collaborating with a team of highly talented engineers located in Seattle/Bellevue location to develop mobile device management solution on Android and AWS. As an individual contributor you would be raising the bar for technical design and code. Work on product features starting with gathering requirements technical design coding and operational support. You would work closely with cross functional TPMs and engineers from other teams to deliver new features to our MDM product.

3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language

3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
