An opportunity has arisen to join our Technology team as a Data Engineer/Analyst. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to design develop implement and manage datacentric solutions such as dashboards data flows commercial reporting and identify and implement continuous improvements. The position reports to the Data and Analytics Manager and is a full time 12month parental leave cover contract.
Key Responsibilities include:
Partner with stakeholders to execute and implement effective data solutions
Design deliver and maintain multiyear data & analytics capability
Implement optimized integrated data processes to support internal customers and drive improvements in data accuracy and reliability
Ensure timely production of data and analytical assets
Monitor report resolution and coordination associated with data quality metrics and systems integration as a local data steward
Identify and optimize automation and simplification within data and process flows
Provide decision support to various stakeholders (BUs project teams functions)
We are all different yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The experienced Data Analyst/Engineer we seek is a highly selfmotivated collaborative communicative techsavvy and innovative individual with these attributes/qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
2 years experience in a similar role in the Pharmaceutical Industry strongly preferred
2 years experience in data analysis data management or a related field
Experience delivering commercial reporting datacentric solutions such as dashboards and data flows
Strong understanding of data quality data management and governance principles
Experience with data visualisation and analytics tools (e.g. Tableau Alteryx Amazon Redshift or similar RDBMS)
Microsoft Power Platform experience
Advanced levels of SQL knowledge and experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams
Understanding of complex interconnected data environment with a DW/DL preferred
Understanding of data standards and best practices (DMBok) with demonstrated abilities in data modelling BI DQ etc. preferred
Residency and permission to work in Australia mandatory
