PURPOSE: This role is ideal for current college or recent graduate students. This position will provide exposure to and provide handson experience working with a group of global and experienced business professionals within our organization.
This internship is within the US Finance Team which consists of approximately 25 individuals who support various IQVIA Product Offerings and their leaders. Each member of the team has unique responsibilities and serves as a finance owner and partner to the business. This internship will offer a variety of projects that will strengthen the candidates fundamental understanding of the P&L and Balance Sheet analytical skills and exposure to various functions within a corporate/commercial finance team. This internship is from late May/early June through midAugust and hybrid in King of Prussia office.
Experience working within a crossfunctional team (we partner with Operations Sales HR and the business leads)
Assist with closing the books each month (Journal Entries)
Assist with the monthly forecast & annual budget
Exposure to SAP Hyperion PSA Workday and other financial software
Exposure to a bottoms up corporate budgeting process. We will begin budgeting in midsummer the intern will play a pivotal role in helping analyze past trends and aggregating data
o Revenue budget by client and product
o OPEX budget
o FTE/Contractor budget
Ad hoc projects (client reporting project reporting product reporting etc.
Assist with designing and completing Service Line Review decks for senior management
Exposure to changes within a complex organization (acquisitions strategic reorganizations and leadership changes)
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Enrolled in a bachelors program preferably focused in Finance and/or Accounting Business
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Quick learner and highly collaborative
- Ability to work within welldefined guidelines and procedures.
- Detailoriented with good organizational skills.
- Able to selfdirect
