Job Description
Under the direct supervision of a licensed teacher the instructional assistant performs:
1. Onetoone or small group instruction.
2. Clerical work.
3. Other activities as assigned.
Special Requirements: (Certification training specialty skills or previous experience)
1. Must have ability to work harmoniously with teachers students and other staff.
2. Must have ability to take direction appropriately changing tasks as necessary.
3. Bilingual in Spanish desired but not required.
4. Must have completed two years of posthigh school obtained an Associates degree or higher or successfully passedthe WorkKeys test.
5. Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
NUMBER OF HOURS PER DAY: 7.0 HOURS PER DAY
NUMBER OF DAYS WORKED PER SCHOOL YEAR: 186 DAYS PER YEAR
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $19.30 $27.16 PER HOUR (RANGE 10
