Job Description
Project Kuiper is Amazons low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast reliable internet to customers and communities around the world and weve designed the system with the capacity flexibility and performance to serve a wide range of customers from individual households to schools hospitals businesses government agencies and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $32/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure. A full range of medical financial and/or other benefits are provided. This information is provided per the Washington State Pay Transparency Act. Base pay information is based on market location. Key job responsibilities
Accurately and efficiently handle material for both production and development efforts.
Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually transact material.
Document system issues process flaws and inefficiencies. Communicating with quality control purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems.
Efficiently move material between sites both physically and virtually.
Identify training needs for the team and assist in the training of newhires and junior peers.
Meet safety productivity and quality standards by following best practices.
Resolve individual work blockers and knowing when to escalate if you are unable to resolve yourself.
Learn new processes.
Operate equipment including: forklifts pallet jacks electric pallet jacks and hand carts.
Contribute to the improvement of SOPs including safety procedures.
Additional requirements
Shift schedule may vary depending on program needs and may include a weekend day.
Standing for long periods of time climbing up and down ladders bending grasping sitting pulling pushing stooping and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position.
A day in the life
The Kuiper team is looking for motivated customerfocused individuals who want to join our team as a Material Coordinator. You will be responsible for processing materials in order to support our customer the satellite production team. You will also interact with peer teams such as planning quality and EHS to ensure our processes result in positive outcomes for these teams. You are a problems solver and are comfortable performing a variety of procedures and troubleshooting standard tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent
2 year in supply chain operations warehousing inventory control or related experience
1 year experience using Microsoft Excel to navigate and interpret data
Able to lift up to 49 pounds
Able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours
Willing to work a set schedule that may include weekends nights and/or holidays
Work 40 hours/week and overtime as required
1 year of ERP experience preferably with SAP
Demonstrated problem solving skills and analytical skills
Experience with Kaizens or other continuous improvement projects
Demonstrated problem solving skills and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal skills (communication listening positive attitude emotional intelligence)
Forklift certified
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and prioritize tasks

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $49920/year in our lowest geographic market up to $66560/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
