Join our team as a Field Service Engineer and play a key role in supporting laboratories by maintaining troubleshooting and optimizing Agilents sophisticated systems and solutions.
The ideal candidate will reside 60 miles within the Metro Chicago Area and will cover a territory that includes: Wisconsin and Illinois.
Install maintain and repair Agilent and multivendor systems including hardware software and networking products.
Diagnose and resolve product performance issues to ensure minimal disruption to customer operations.
Advise customers on preventive maintenance to enhance system performance and efficiency.
Deliver coordinated solutions including peripherals communications operating systems and application software.
Train customers and other field engineers on system use and standard processes.
Maintain clear communication and provide outstanding customer service.
Travel regularly to various customer sites and work with a diverse clientele.
Bachelors Masters or equivalent degree in Chemistry Analytical Chemistry Biochemistry Biotechnology or a related field. Validated experience may be considered in place of a degree.
proven experience in a field service role or as an enduser of analytical equipment.
Experience in Chromatography (LCGC); Mass Spectrometry experience is helpful.
Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills in a customerfacing environment
Familiarity with Agilent solutions is a plus.
Valid drivers license and ability to meet credentialing requirements for customer site access.
Company vehicle will provided for the role.
Travel 40 within the territory.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least April 17 2025 or until the job is no longer posted. In the US this position is eligible for choice of company car or reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.The fulltime equivalent pay range for this position is $41.27 $64.48/hr plus eligibility for bonus stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role level and location. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including jobrelated skills experience and relevant education or training.
