Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily 1:1 instruction for a Middle School student in a personalized learning environment.
- Plan develop and implement curriculum for math that is responsive to the students academic profile.
- Design and facilitate engaging extension activities in science and social studies.
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet the needs of a gifted and/or twiceexceptional learner.
- Collaborate regularly with Middle School administration to align goals strategies and student support.
- Track and communicate academic progress through regular updates and documentation.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Required:Degree in Gifted Education
- Preferred:Degree in Special Education and/or Twice Exceptional specialization
- Demonstrated experience working with gifted and talented or twiceexceptional students.
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction studentcentered learning and executive functioning strategies.
- Ability to build positive supportive relationships with students in a oneonone setting.
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
