You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe County Administrative Office is now seeking an experienced Public Affairs and Communications Manager to lead and manage the Countys communications and public engagement initiatives. This position oversees the Public Affairs and Communications team and is responsible for strategic communication efforts that support the mission services and goals of the County.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
Our ideal Candidate is a strategic and collaborative leader with deep knowledge of public relations media communications government operations and public engagement strategies and possesses the ability to craft clear compelling messaging across a variety of platforms. This individual is skilled in managing teams developing public information campaigns and navigating complex political and community landscapes. They bring experience fostering positive media relationships facilitating public involvement and working effectively with diverse communities. With excellent writing editing and presentation skills they can translate complex information into accessible content while promoting transparency and trust in local government.
