We have an opportunity for an Executive Director to join their team of staff in theSenior Management Team.
This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.
You must be a fit and proper person under Regulation 5 of the Health and Social Care Act (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014. In addition to our own robust recruitment checks the candidate will be required to sign a selfdeclaration form confirming the same as part of the appointment process.
Duties of this role include:
- Develop and lead the hospitals annual strategic and operational plan ensuring alignment with the wider organisational goals and CHGs purpose and values.
- Act as the hospitals Registered Manager ensuring full compliance with all regulatory legal and governance standards.
- Drive operational excellence by ensuring safe responsive and wellled services supported by datadriven planning and decisionmaking.
- Ensure that the safety and quality of patient care are embedded in all decisions processes and activities across the hospital.
- Champion continuous improvement and learning using internal quality indicators audits and patient feedback to drive high performance.
- Oversee compliance with CQC (or equivalent) requirements and lead the response to regulatory inspections and reviews.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership position within a healthcare environment.
- Strong understanding of clinical governance regulatory compliance and healthcare standards (e.g. CQC).
- Degree level education/ postgraduate qualifications or equivalent
- Demonstrated track record in leading teams driving improvement and delivering financial and operational targets.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and influencing skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
