Overview
Quality Nurse Stroke Coordinator
FTE: 1.0 (Fulltime 40 hours per week)
Shift: Monday Friday 8am4:30pm
Responsibilities
Serve as an expert to DNV Stroke program certification requirements
Collaborate with Stroke Interdisciplinary Teams to improve patient outcomes
Perform chart reviews and abstract quality metrics utilizing electronic database
Assists in formulating policies protocols and staff education
Analyze data for patterns and trends implementing changes as needed
Qualifications
Education:
Associates Dregree in Nursing required.
Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience:
Onethree years successful employment in related field. Hospital RN experience preferred.
License(s)/Certification(s):
Valid drivers license when driving any vehicle for workrelated reasons.
Current licensure in good standing to practice as a RN in the state of Iowa.
