- Perform physical chemical and instrumental analysis of medical device products
- Run the instrumentation independently including but not limited to various chromatographic systems (HPLC IC & GC) UV/Spec various wet chemistry analyses FTIR ICP DSC and dissolution apparatus
- Consult with clients to understand their testing needs
- Develop and adapt specialized PFAS testing for client specific projects
- Preparing samples for analysis and running instrumentation with minimum supervision
- Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department
- Prepare standards and samples for analysis
- Execute method transfer protocols
- Document work as required for GMP compliance
- Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in chemistry biochemistry or related degree concentration
- 3 years of experience using chromatography in an Environmental or cGMP environment
- Experience with PFAS testing or characterization
- Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
Additional Preferences:
- Experience operating ion chromatography or HPLC systems.
- Experience with Solid Phase Extraction
- Experience with ISO 10993 and/or ISO 18562 testing
- Experience in a cGMP GLP and/or ISO 17025 compliant/accredited lab.
- Experience with method development and validation
- Polymeric and/or PFAS experience/education

Positions are fulltime working (MondayFriday 8:00am4:00pm) overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within commutable distance to Lancaster PA are encouraged to apply.
