The Regional Purchasing Technology & Integration Specialist (RIS) will play a pivotal projectbased role leading the endtoend integration of Eurofins Legal Entities into the companys digital purchasing platforms primarily Coupa (digital purchasing system) alongside associated warehouse management systems. This includes entities resulting from mergers and acquisitions (M&A) as well as current entities requiring system onboarding.
The RIS will lead such projects from initiation to completion ensuring seamless system integration selecting appropriate digital tools and driving synergies across purchasing and warehouse operations. They will act as the central project lead coordinating with internal IT partners regional and local stakeholders and crossfunctional teams to achieve project milestones. Onsite travel may be required to support complex integrations and ensure successful implementation.
In addition to system integration the RIS will focus on best practice enrichment ensuring standardised training taskspecific modifications and continuous process improvement. They will prepare comprehensive project status reports steering committee documentation and presentations for regional leadership and global review sessions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Leadership for Digital Purchasing & Warehouse System Integration
- Lead projectbased integrations of newly acquired and existing legal entities into the Coupa (digital purchasing system) and associated platforms.
- Manage warehouse system integration either through the Coupa Inventory module (digital purchasing system) or by selecting and interfacing with an alternative solution.
- Conduct system assessments including warehouse needs (e.g. UOM suppliers cycle counts onhand data).
- Evaluate and implement bestfit standard processes for purchasing and warehouse integration collaborating with local stakeholders.
- Organise system demonstrations with internal IT partners external vendors and local teams.
- Lead fitgap analyses to align solutions with Eurofins purchasing and warehouse requirements.
- Ensure system interoperability between Coupa warehouse platforms and other related systems.
2. EndtoEnd Project Management
- Lead the full project lifecycle from planning and scoping to golive and postintegration support.
- Develop and manage project plans timelines and milestones ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Facilitate regular project meetings with crossfunctional stakeholders including CGA NSC internal IT partners and external vendors.
- Oversee data gathering formatting and verification to enable accurate system setup.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production (PROD) configuration for both Coupa (digital purchasing system) and warehouse platforms.
- Provide hypercare support for one month postgolive ensuring seamless operations and issue resolution.
- Travel to site locations as needed to support complex integration efforts and engage with local stakeholders.
3. Best Practice Enrichment and Process Optimisation
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices for digital purchasing and warehouse system integration.
- Ensure standardised taskspecific training for operational users across Coupa and associated platforms.
- Establish comprehensive documentation for integration processes including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to promote efficiency and knowledge sharing.
- Lead postintegration reviews to identify lessons learned and enhance future project approaches.
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and system enhancements ensuring continuous improvement.
4. Synergy Identification and Procurement Optimisation
- Identify short medium and longterm procurement synergies following acquisitions.
- Conduct opportunity reviews price alignment and supplier consolidation exercises.
- Support the development of category strategies and costsaving initiatives for integrated entities.
- Capture feedback from purchasing team (local or global) regarding procurement strategies.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact between regional leadership local entities internal IT partners and digital procurement teams.
- Ensure project alignment through clear communication and structured action plans.
- Coordinate crossfunctional collaboration among CGA NSC Master Data and key users.
- Lead project kickoff meetings and maintain stakeholder engagement throughout the integration lifecycle.
6. Reporting and Leadership Support
- Prepare comprehensive project status reports for regional leadership and global review sessions.
- Create SteerCo documentation including project dashboards risk assessments and action plans.
- Ensure transparent reporting on project progress challenges and outcomes.
7. Training and Change Management
- Lead taskspecific training for Coupa and warehouse system users including buyers approvers and accounting staff.
- Provide handson training for warehouse teams ensuring familiarity with system functionality and workflows.
- Train local key users equipping them to manage ongoing operations postintegration.
- Promote best practices and drive user adoption across all integrated entities.
Qualifications :
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Information Systems or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in purchasing operations procurement technology or system integration.
- Expertise in warehouse system integration and associated tools including Coupa Inventory (digital purchasing system) or similar platforms.
- Project management experience ideally including system deployments and M&A integration contexts.
- Skills:
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Expertise in warehouse and purchasing system integration including tool selection and system interfacing.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to identify procurement synergies and drive costsaving initiatives.
- Proficiency in Excel and other project management tools.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel across Europe as needed to support onsite integration efforts.
