Job Description

About Us:

We are currently seeking a wellqualified individual to join our firm as a Geotechnical Staff Engineer. You will be joining growthminded professionals dedicated to providing solutions to complex geotechnical and environmental challenges. Come and be a part of our energetic team!

Position Overview:

As a Geotechnical Staff Engineer you will play a key role in our dynamic team working on a range of projects that involve complex geotechnical challenges. You will be responsible for conducting investigations designing solutions and collaborating with other professionals to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet department fees and profit goals.
  • Organize and conduct engineering investigations.
  • Plan workflow and develop welldefined scopes for projects.
  • Outline and prepare straightforward reports or sections of more complex reports.
  • Work under the periodic review of more experienced professionals.
  • Provide engineering services during construction activities including preparing records progress reports and observing construction procedures under guidance.
  • Research feasibility of alternative design approaches site conditions and regulatory agency specifications.
  • Prepare preliminary estimates of manhours costs and material quantities.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines as required.
  • Perform field observations quality assurance and quality control inspections.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical concentration preferred).
  • Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering preferred.
  • Engineer in Training (E.I.T. registration preferred.
  • Minimum of 23 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Department of Transportation work preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Salary:

  • Position is fulltime.
  • Salary will be commensurate with experience.
