CAD Technician Required Skills

• Knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction techniques construction documents building codes and CAD concepts.
• Advanced CAD/BIM drafting skills. Proficiency in Revit preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

CAD Technician Required Experience

• Education: A.S. in Architecture Engineering or Construction related field or significant experience in a professional environment drafting residential and/or commercial construction documentation.
• 3 plus years 2D and 3D experience in AutoCAD Architecture Revit or Sapphire Build required.

As a CAD Technician for Fieldstone A&E youll be working alongside our dedicated team of client managers architects engineers and designers. Youll be producing high quality construction documentation using various CAD software on this team. The candidate were looking for has an exceptional ability to focus in a bustling team environment utilize strong time management skills while occasionally tending to multiple projects at once ensuring they are of the highest quality once completed. CAD Technician Responsibilities

• Prepares complex Architecture and Engineering construction drawings for residential and commercial projects utilizing AutoCAD Architecture REVIT and/or Sapphire Build (Blackpoint).
  
• Produces Lot Specific and Master plans in accordance with Fieldstone and/or clientspecific standards.
  
• Develops and drafts architectural and engineering details and plans assists management in preparing proposals and generates correspondence for clients and managers.
  
• Performs fieldwork documentation research and drafting tasks of architectural and engineering data as requested by clients or managers.
  
• Maintains dynamic communication with contractors clients staff and the general public for any architectural engineering or construction issues.
  
• Consistently applies Fieldstones Quality Control procedures and takes ownership of their work.
  
• Manages the proper filing of project submittals RFIs and other project records both electronic and paper.
  
• Complies with Fieldstone and clientspecific standards (CAD File Management etc..
  
• Participates in occasional team meetings to help resolve project issues such as coordination scheduling and technical concerns.
  
• Document time and expenses using Fieldstones business management system.
  
• Fosters a culture of external and internal client service.
