Job Summary
University Housing is seeking fulltime custodians. These positions receive full benefits click here to be taken to our benefits page.
Must be willing to work weekends.
Fulltime schedule: 8 hours on Saturday 8 hours on Sunday and three 8 hour weekday shifts.
Daily work hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Duration: Permanent FullTime Position
This position provides general cleaning and custodial care and support for assigned campus buildings facilities structures and adjacent areas including but not limited to student residences offices locker rooms patios entryways and walkways and workshops. Custodial staff may work independently or as part of a custodial team. Weekend work required.

University Housing a unit within the Division of Student Affairs consists of Facilities Operations Housing Administration Custodial Operations Diversity and Inclusion and Residential Student Experience. University Housing provides a premier living and learning experience for over 8800 students in residence hall and apartmentstyle communities. Key Qualifications
- Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the duties of the position.
- Follow verbal and written instructions to ensure safety.
- Operate and care for custodial equipment and supplies applicable to the position.
- Ability to clearly relay information both written and verbal for maintenance custodial or health and safety repairs or concerns.
- Ability to maintain high quality/standards of work ethics commitment and professional responsibility.
Education and Experience
Any combination of training experience and/or education sufficient to demonstrate the required skills listed above.
Salary and Benefits
Anticipated Hiring Range: $44160 $52589 per year
Classification Range: $44160 $59412 per year
