Job Description

  • Part Time Fixed Term Contract 30/06/2027
  • Up to 64 hours per fortnight

Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) together with partnering agencies provides an extensive range of acute subacute aged care and community services across the Central Hume (CH).

NHW is the lead agency of the Central Hume Local Area Partnership which also comprises Alpine Health Benalla Health Mansfield District Hospital and Yarrawonga Health. Beechworth Health Service also participates within the partnership.

The SubRegional Patient Access Manager will work closely with Executive Director Clinical Operations (NHW) and CH counterparts to further enhance subregional selfsufficiency through the optimisation of existing theatre and bed capacity aligned with clinical capability role formally reports to NHW CEO.

The successful applicant will have relevant health service management experience and be skilled implementing and sustaining change in a health care with strong collaboration skills initiative and innovative thinking candidates should also be familiar with relevant enabling frameworks such as Department of Health Planned Surgery Reform Blueprint Capability frameworks and Health Services Plan.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to support enhanced access to care across the Central Hume Region.
