Job Description
The successful candidate will be expected to teach introductory and upperlevel courses in Judaism and Hebrew Bible. We seek a candidate with strengths and interests in theological literary and historical approaches to the Hebrew Bible and in any subfield of Jewish Studies.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent earned doctorate.
Duties will include overseeing HPUs Jewish Studies minor and chairing the Jewish Studies committee. Candidates must demonstrate a dedication to teaching undergraduates in the context of a liberal arts institution.
