About the job
The purpose of this position is to provide support in the development of ways of working in Import/Export operations and to identify continual process improvements. This means many different tasks and responsibilities and a lot of variety on a daily basis! You will work closely with other departments both domestically and internationally while working to lower costs improve customer availability and increase efficiency.
About the assignment
As the Process Developer you will be an active and integral part of the IKEA team with a large variety of job tasks and assignments. Among other things you:
Actively support Systems Support in daytoday activities associated with import and entry documentation and shipment processing
Contribute to the identification of process including working methods
Are responsible for process working method and associated technology solution education
Qualifications :
About you
You are highly motivated and work well on your own or in a large team of coworkers! You thrive in a diverse and global environment and have strong communications skills both written and verbal. You enjoy working in a fast growing company and embrace the opportunities for challenges and learning that comes with it. Additionally we believe that you:
Have University or Technical Institution degree
Demonstrate strong computer proficiency programming development and technology skills. Preferably experience in VBA SQL ACCESS EXCEL QlikView/Qliksense SharePoint/OneDrive Microsoft Power Platform and Tools or other applicable programming knowledge.
Are willing to travel internationally
Preferred but Not Required
Previous experience from supply chain logistics and/or import/export operations
Knowledge of Customs federal laws and regulations
