Schedule Information: Monday Fridayhours may vary depending on district needs
6:25 am 7:40 am & 1:55 pm 3:25 pm (tuesday through friday schedule)
7:55 am 10:45 am & 1:55 pm 3:25 pm (monday schedule)
*Thisposition serves the Continuous Curriculum School (CCS) schedule. CCS drivers will typically start in midAugust and work through the end of June.
Estimated Start Date: Immediately after hire
start date is contingent upon clearance of background screening
through the FBI and Washington State Patrol.
End Date if temporary):This is atemporary position through the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year with the potential to transition to continuing employment into the 2025/2026 school year.
Additional Information: May be required to work varying schedules and routes based on department need.
Salary: $23.64 $27.99dependent on placement

Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for completion of the following items in addition to those listed in the Job Description (see above)
- Must pass random drug testing as required by law and must undergo a medical examination prior to training.
- Must successfully pass the Department of Transportation physical capabilities test.
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- Required to have a valid First Aid card including CPR and training for HIV/AIDS procedures(district provided training availble).
- Successful Washington State Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation Fingerprint Clearance.
- Valid Washington State drivers license or evidence of mobility and valid Washington State school bus driver certificate.
- Proof of Immunization (if born 1/1/57 or later) preferred.
- I9 Employment Eligibility in compliance with the Immigrations Reform and Control Act.
- Completion of all districtrequired trainings within thirty 30 calendar days from hire date with the exception of CDL training which could go beyond thirty 30 calendar days.
