APPLICATIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED FOR THE 202425 SCHOOL YEAR:
Anticipated fulltime openings for all grade levels:
Special Support Paraprofessional(s)
6.5 hours/day student days plus additional days as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; 2 years college degree desired
- Completion of 2 years of postsecondary study (minimum of 48 credits); or possess an associate degree or higher (in any subject) as evidenced by transcriptspreferred
- Highly Qualified trainingwill be provided for applicantshaving less than 2 years college experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills
- Experience working with special needs students desired
Requirements:
- Duties will require regular contact with bodily fluids &/or toileting
- Training and support in the areas of assistive technology eating communication sensory integration and academics
- Assist student with functional mobility
- Experience with academic and behavioral data collection
Hourly Rate:Per Collective Bargaining Agreement

Additional Requirements:
- Completion of PDE required training (online training courses)
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- May be required to lift up to 40 lbs.
