System Development Engineer I TFS Payments

The Transportation Financial Systems Payments team (TFSPayments) is responsible for payment of invoices from and to external parties. We are building a robust core architecture for compliant and timely thirdparty and selfbilled payments.

As a Sys Dev 2 2 in TFS you will work on large scale FinTech applications. You will perform service level integrations support architectural migrations troubleshoot and continuously work towards improving customer experience and will have opportunities to design develop.

Key job responsibilities
The ideal candidate must be detail oriented have good verbal and written communication skills strong organizational skills able to juggle multiple tasks at once able to work independently.
They work as a liaison between Sr SDEs and technical stakeholders in order to elicit analyze communicate and validate requirements for changes to software applications or tools to optimally support changing business processes and policies. They will be able to accurately prioritize projects make sound judgments work to improve the customer experience and get the right things done.

A day in the life
We deal with managing newer configurations building newer features in existing products and automating manual process in the Transportation space. As an Sys Dev your typical day will involve planning your tasks attending team level standups to review the progress of work reviewing code setting up infrastrure operationally active design proposal of other members and working on configuration/coding tasks. We mainly work on Java Python and ReactJS and use AWS services and infrastructure (S3 DDB EC2 Cloudwatch etc)

Experience in automating deploying and supporting infrastructure
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python Ruby Golang Java C C# Rust
Experience with Linux/Unix

Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
