The University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy invites applications for a 12month nontenure track position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor. Rank will be commensurate with the candidates qualifications and experience. The position is based in Oxford Mississippi on the University of Mississippi Campus. Academic responsibilities include teaching in the PharmD curriculum including skills laboratory experiences and training of pharmacy students on practice experiences (IPPE and APPE). Practice responsibilities pending individual candidate strengths and interests and departmental needs include a variety of opportunities in ambulatory care community practice and other unique practice opportunities. In scholarship the candidate will be expected to publish scholarly works in peerreviewed journals and teach and mentor students and residents in research experiences. In service or citizenship the candidate will be required to serve the department the school and University according to needs and interests. Participation and leadership in professional and scientific organizations is encouraged.

The successful candidate must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited School/College of Pharmacy with residency and/or fellowship training or commensurate pharmacy practice experience required and be licensed or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Mississippi. The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to teaching service scholarship and competence as a clinician. Board certification and teaching experience is encouraged.
