Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic selfmotivated Associate Signaling V&V Engineer who thrives in a fastpaced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Bangalore India.

Mission:
Deliver complex (in terms of number of interfaces and/or contract value) Signalling systems and subsystems that meet Signalling system and subsystem requirements in compliance with project schedule and budget. Build the required V&V evidences.
Accountabilities:
WITH REFERENCE TO COMPLEX SIGNALLING SYSTEMS AND SUBSYSTEMS:
- Ensure the delivery of the Signalling system and subsystem V&V report.
- Support the definition of the Signalling system and subsystem V&V plan according to the standards safety plan and defined SIL and in compliance with the selected international and national standards and the requirements of customers certification bodies and safety authorities.
- Support the definition of the Signalling system and subsystem Validation Test Specification and the implementation of the Signalling system and subsystem V&V activities according to the RAMS governance directions and to the Company processes and guidelines.
- Support that subsystems suppliers provide V&V evidence.
- Support the definition of the requirements and expected features for the testing environments/tools needed to execute the Signalling system and subsystem Validation activities.
WITH REFERENCE TO COMPLEX SIGNALLING SYSTEMS AND SUBSYSTEMS
- Contribute to the delivery of Signalling systems and subsystems V&V evidence in order to confirm compliance of the Signalling application with safety and customer requirements.
Required Skills/ Knowledge
- Electrical Electronics & Communication Background
- 0 to 3 years of professional experience with configuration and/or Validation of wayside Signalling systems in Railway/Metro Signalling (e.g. IXL CBI ETCS wayside L1 or L2 etc.
- Application V&V Processes knowledge System Technical knowledge Subsystem Technical knowledge
- Application data Validation System testing knowledge International and national Standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education / Qualifications
Bachelors Degree (Electronics & Communication Electrical & Electronics) /Masters Degree
Languages
